Version

1.15.0

What happened?

I ran go install github.com/kyleconroy/sqlc/cmd/sqlc@latest at the terminal to grab whatever the latest version of sqlc is and had a series of events:

  1. First, I was told I had not agreed to the Xcode license agreements.
  2. I agreed to them...
  3. After agreeing, I ran the install statement again and this time it choked looking for clang
  4. I installed clang.
  5. I ran the statement a 3rd time, this time clang died looking for the command line developer tools.
  6. I installed the command line developer tools.

Now I seem to be caught in some endless cycle where clang can't find the developer tools even though I keep installing them...

I'm running a 2015 macbook (I'm waiting for the larger M2 macbook pros to finally upgrade), which could be the problem here, but I never had any issues with sqlc until recently.

Love the product though, great work!

Hello. This seems to be similar to the problem I had. My problem was because of a dependency on wasmtime.

You can disable it with a build flag nowasm. Check #1772

This sudo command was the fix in case anybody has the same issue randomly...
