Idea: Restructure additional docu section

I wanted to add more howtos etc. to the web site. The idea considered with @pka was to add a "knowledgebase" section and move the "troubleshooting" section into it and possibly add further sections under knowledgebase such as "howtos" and what have you.

Currently this idea is on the backburner until there's further docu to add.

Hi @tpo @pka ,

As mentioned by @tpo in qwc-services/qwc-admin-gui#54 , some of the implemented features of QWC (JS framework, configuration files in demo app, qwc-services, ...) do not have any documentation from User or Dev points of view.

At Oslandia, we were considering to participate to this documentation, by adding some "howtos" as you suggest in this issue. First, we think that we could create a User doc and a Dev doc to separate what you need to know to publish data in your app. What do you think ?

Here are some ideas of content we could write for User doc:

• How to configure your QGIS project ?
  • Create alias in Attribute Forms
  • Do not expose all your fields in a layer
  • Set up extent
  • Exclude layouts/CRS/layers
  • Add geometry to response in GetFeatureInfo
  • Make a layer queryable
• How to give access/restrictions in your app ? (Admin GUI)
  • How to create users/groups/roles ?
  • How to create resources ? What are the different types of resources ?
  • How to create permissions ?
  • How to import all the layers (or other type of resource) of a project ?
• How to add an external background layer when printing ?
• How to make a layer editable ?
• ...
