Unify inline edit experience

Currently we have various inline edit experience within VS Code.

Some examples of different inline edit experiences is

1. Timeline
2. Terminal tabs
3. Explorer

Making a unified reusable widget would allow us to enable rename in things like the outline.

Please help us out by providing a screen recording showing exactly what isn't working as expected. While we can work with most standard formats, .gif files are preferred as they are displayed inline on GitHub. You may find https://gifcap.dev helpful as a browser-based gif recording tool.

If the issue depends on keyboard input, you can help us by enabling screencast mode for the recording (Developer: Toggle Screencast Mode in the command palette).

Here's a gif demonstrating the three bulleted in the issue:

• Explorer keeps icon showing, has old name in the input box but selected
• Local History in timeline uses quick input and is not inline
• Terminal hides icon, empty input box.

There's not really an easy reusable way to support rename in the list widget at the moment. I know @bpasero tried to find one when implementing the local history rename since having your focus moved to the top of the viewport is quite jarring.
