That said some of the fixes seems to have not reached master branch for example aeebf3f

Lets not put bandaids on a old pla, that really needs lots of work to get working with PHP > v8. I'd rather focus on getting a function PLA v2 that has all these issues addressed as part of using later versions of supported components.
