Code editor lacks crucial code-editing behaviors and actions.

E.g. autoindenting new lines, ctrl+(shift)+left/right to move cursor(and with shift select code), tab/shift+tab for indentation when multiple lines are selected, a hotkey to comment/uncomment selected lines, and transpose/duplicate line(s).

Additionally, a symbol table panel, and code folding would be nothing short of a god-send.

Use ALT or win / super key (im not sure) instead of ctrl to navigate quickly

Okay, that works, but: Why this instead of ctrl?

Also, there are more bugs, such as pasting inserting some character that breaks everything, and erasing the rest of the line you paste to.

I wouldn't expect polycode's editor to become an a-class text editor/ide
anytime soon, I would be interested to know how other people are working in
polycode though. Wonder if anyone's made a sublime build took for running
polycode based projects yet

Well I'm willed to put some of these features into the editor - but you may just file all your requests in a single request (GitHub issue ;)) that I have a nice list to check ;)

Is an embedded text editor component an option? http://kate-editor.org/ or http://www.scintilla.org/ for example? Thus you get a whole suite of standard editor behaviours with no extra work?
