Description
Version 2+ has pre-built binaries for Node.js 9 and would save Node.js 9 users from having to compile LevelDB every time they npm install ipfs.
Looks like the major version bump (1 => 2) was because of upgrades to Typescript bindings https://github.com/Level/leveldown/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md#200---2017-10-02 which this project doesn't use. Is it a painless upgrade?
