haskell-unicode-input-mode is slow as hell

When I'm writing, it takes about a second for the haskell unicode input method to process each character. It is rather frustrating. This has been the case ever since I started using it, present even in the latest commit 🌵

@roelvandijk do you happen to know if the suggestion timers can be customized?

actually, it doesn't appear to be the input method, but something else in haskell-mode which is offering word completions.

it was fine in the 3.1.7 release but not the 4.0.0

@spacekitteh: can you provide some more information? There were improvememnts all over the place since you reported this issue, maybe it just went away?
