Container registry windows images

Can Gitea support windows containers based on windowserver images? With the official registry v2 I have to disable validation for these to work. But with Gitea I keep getting the errBlobUnknown "Blob Unknown" when pushing the images.

If I understand correctly, this is not a new type of registry, but a bug in the container registry?
