AI Application Engineer | Cloud & Automation Enthusiast

Hey there! I'm Bert Yan, a recent Master’s graduate in Computer Science from Northwestern University, passionate about AI applications, automation, and cloud technologies.

For most of my academic life, I approached challenges like an optimization problem—I looked for the most efficient path, cut unnecessary steps, and found solutions that got results fast, and I was great at it. Like Dijkstra’s algorithm in action, I minimized effort while maximizing outcomes. Now I am standing at a career crossroads trying to move on to the next stage of life, I realize what I actually enjoy: building things that work—especially using AI tools to solve real problems.
