Second the request, as this affects Travis CI integration setup work for tidy-html5.

I'm looking for something with a new enough doxygen that I can use it on ekmett/thc as well.

@BanzaiMan Any progress on this? I'm using the doxygen package on the Container Based Infrastructure, but am currently stuck with doxygen 1.7.6.1. Also haven't found any ppa packages on the source whitelist that has a newer version of doxygen.
I've got automated doxygen docs generation and publication to gh-pages.
Would really love an update to a newer version (1.8.11) of doxygen!

This would be really helpful. Any news here?

Sorry, but PPAs are unlikely to be added. If you need a new source, please use sudo: required option, so that you can manage the packages yourselves.

@insertinterestingnamehere

Alright. Using sudo: required and dist: trusty to get the newer ubuntu images and packages works for me. It doesn't work in the containerized infrastructure, but this is good enough. Thanks!
