Is there a recommended pattern for including/using Typescripts as extensions via the pre-render script?

Hi Team Quarto,

I am once again impressed by your work. I hadn't followed the development of pre-render Project scripts and since you have a Typescript env built in this is clearly a very, very powerful tool. Its also potentially useful to be able to package and distribute pre-render scripts as extensions. I am wondering if there is a current (or soon to be developed) ability to pack TS files for extensions that are callable as pre-render scripts.
