ComfyUI-Custom-Scripts Causing Extreme Slowdown When Loading Any Workflow

Starting up Comfy when I have the ComfyUI-Custom-Scripts nodes installed takes forever. The server starts running but when the browser tab opens and loads the workflow it just hangs with the comfy loading icon for a few minutes until it finally loads. I get no errors, and nothing is showing in the console as it hangs.

When I uninstall this node again, everything loads up nearly instantly again.

I've tried fresh installs, updating comfy, updating the custom node, reinstalling dependencies, etc. etc. and testing out every custom node one by one to see which was causing the issue and it only happens when I have ComfyUI-Custom-Scripts installed.

Any ideas what could be causing this issue and how I could fix it? I've been using other nodes in place of this one for a while, but there are some features from this pack that I'd like to get back.
