Problem description
This was already discussed here and here, opening a separate issue for clarity.
Expected Output
df.loc[[(1, 'a',)]]
should return the same asdf.loc[1, 'a', :]
(or more explicitly,df.loc[(1, 'a', slice(None)), :]
), whiledf.loc[[(1,)]]
should return the same asdf.loc[[1]]
